We return … finally !!!!

This weekend we are back in action after the stop caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. I already wanted to get back to the microphone to comment on DAZN with Ernest Riveras the Grand Prix and this first race in Jerez turns the lights green.

The Qatar Grand Prix in which the Moto2 and Moto3 categories ran is already a long way off, as are the MotoGP tests and this is a new start that is presented with uncertainty and great interest because the situation is and has been unusual and there will be to see how it affects the drivers and the competition.

We will see how they arrive in form and rhythm. It is clear that we all react differently to exceptional situations, but in general I think that at the beginning, the pilots shared the same concern that was none other than personal health, that of family, friends … and the sports part remained in a background. Surely they continued training as best they could but without a specific goal and, when the confirmed schedule etc. was announced, surely things changed in terms of motivation, mentality and intensity

Surely this first race in Jerez and the rest of the Championship will be very special, unique. In Moto2 and Moto3 we have the first references, but MotoGP is presented with more uncertainty. What I am sure of is that, after the break, the “new championship” is going to be more intense since it is considered as more concentrated and sprinting and this is also an added incentive.

On the other hand, it will be necessary to see, to what extent it affects the movement of “mercato” that there has been in these months. Many drivers and teams have tied their future for 2021 and we will see some of them competing for teams that already know that they will leave at the end of the season and against formations in which they will compete from next year.

In short, great and interesting expectations that I will share with you at DAZN.

We are back!
